Kate Carpenter is a artist from Maryland. they have been studying dance since they were 8 years old and have been teaching and choreographing for the past 6 years.
Kate has a passion for making theatre accessible for everyone. Kate is very passionate about gender performance in the dance world and how that impacts the art form as a whole and even the world. Kate is very passionate about LGBTQ+ rights and helping young queer people find their way in the arts.
Kate is going to Sarah Lawrence to get their MFA in dance staring this fall and can’t wait to continue their journey!
